Ektimo Vineyards

Owner Dominic Xie was born in the wine country of Ningxie Provence, China. He studied at Stanford, and pursued a successful career in government and business. In 2012, the Xie family acquired the old Cahill Estate and Winery in the Russian River Valley.

The name, Ektimo is from the Creek word to appreciate.

The winemaking team includes winemaker Lisa Bishop Forbes, a graduate of Fresno State with a BS in Enology who has been the winemaker at Dry Creek Vineyard and Chalk Hill. She joined Ektimo in 2015.

Multiple varietals are produced including a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, a Russian River Valley Rosé of Pinot Noir and a Russian River Valley Chardonnay.

A tasting room, located at 4950 Ross Road in Sebastopol, is open Tuesday - Sunday. The wines are also sold on the website.
