Chêne

Located in Edna Valley, this producer of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from one of the smallest vineyards there. Owners David and Lisa Platt carefully farm their estate vineyard and craft a few hundred cases of wine annually.

David is a biology graduate of the University of Oregon who visited wine regions throughout the world before finding a parcel in Edna Valley that would suit his family's wine venture. He and his spouse planted their 6.2-acre vineyard in 2009, and initially produced wine in their garage with the help of local Edna Valley winemakers.

Tasting and tours are welcome by appointment at Chêne Vineyards, 1990 Corbett Canyon Road in Arroyo Grande.
