The Rallison family moved from Salt Lake City to Oregon in 2007. Jared Rallison launched the Rallison Cellars label in 2011 while still employed in pharmaceuticals.
Multiple varietals are produced by winemaker Jared including Pinot Noir and sparkling wines. Current production is about 2,000 cases per year.
A tasting room opened in 2017 in a century old railroad stop building formerly known as the Smockville Hotel in Sherwood (16079 S.W. Railroad Street). The space houses Rallison's satellite retail spot and tasting room while production occurs at Jared's Parrett Mountain residence.
