Domaine De La Riviére

A family-owned producer of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir Rosé, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.The winery's first harvest was in August 2017 with releases following in 2018 and 2019.

In 2011, the owners purchased a small Pinot Noir vineyard off Starr Road, in the Middle Reach of the Russian River Valley. Named Vineyard Eleven, this site is a 21-acre ranch originally planted to 10 acres of Pinot Noir (115, 667 and "828") between 2002 and 2004. The vineyard supplied grapes to wineries like Patz & Hall, Kosta Brown, Gary Farrell, Orogeny, Paul Hobbs and Orin Swift. At the end of harvest in 2014, the new owners, Geoff and Maria Bedrosian, replanted the vineyard because it was afflicted with Red Blotch. Replanting of 11 acres ensued and includes Mt. Eden, Swan, Pommard clones and a Vosne-Romanée selection. The vineyard will eventually become the source of the estate Pinot Noir.

Glenn Alexander of Atlas Vineyard Management will plant and farm the estate vineyard. The winemaker is Kale Anderson, a Sonoma County native. His resume includes stints at Colgin Cellars, Cliff Lede Vineyards and Pahlmeyer.
