This winery produces "knock-offs" of popular wines that sell for less than the name wines. Based in Denver, Colorado, the winery has a production facility in Healdsburg. The winery employees "reverse engineering," using the lab, Ellipse Analytics that has the largest alcohol flavor profile database in the world. Master Sommelier Brett Zimmerman is the final test in quality assurance.
The winery does not reveal the producer of the wines that are "replicated.". Thus, the Goldenrod Flower Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is apparently a copy of another Pinot Noir produced in the Anderson Valley.
The wines are in widespread retail distribution in more than 35 states.
