A second label to Alysian Wines, founded in 2006 by Bill Hambrecht and Gary Farrell. When both veterans decided to retire in 2013, Woody Hambrecht, Bill's grandson, took control of Alysian Wines and added Floodgate Wine Company focusing on small-lot blends offering exceptional value. Floodgate's inaugural vintage was 2013 and included a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
