Petree Cellars

A small family winery owned by Rob and Felicia Petree. The Petrees began modestly in 2007 using their garage and wine cellar as a wine production facility. In 2013, the couple partnered with a winemaker and contracted with a custom crush facility in Napa Valley.

Winemaker Kurt Niznik arrived in California in 1997 to pursue a career in winemaking. After working for several wineries in Napa and Sonoma counties, he obtained a Master's degree in viticulture and enology from UC Davis. He subsequently helped start up the newly constructed Caldwell Winery in 2005 and in 2008 he teamed with Tim Mondavi and family to assist in the growth of Continuum Estate. Besides Petree Cellars, he works as a winemaking consultant for clients in the Napa and Sonoma regions.

Wines offered include a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon available through the winery's mailing list.
