Winemaker Rob Fischer and owner Byron Ziegler, the visionaries and creators of Banshee Wines launched in April 2020 and a tasting room will open in downtown Healdsburg in June 2020. Marine Layer partnered with local designers, the Hommeboys, to capture the spirit of the Sonoma Coast in the design of the tasting room.
The winery offers a lineup of small production Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast. The founders have decades of experience and deeply rooted relationships with the top growers in the Sonoma Coast.
The name, Marine Layer, pays homage to the prominent blanket of fog that pours in from the Pacific.
