Dukes Family Vineyards is the realization of a dream; a passion growing from a love of great food and extraordinary wine by Pat and Jackie Dukes. Hailing from Arizona, they established a vineyard and converted an old barn into a winery on the property which consists of 58 acres in the Eola Hills. From 1996 to 2000, 7.5 acres of Pinot Noir were planted with wide spacing norm common in Oregon. Additional planting of Dijon clones in 2006 added 10 acres of Pinot Noir, all high-density. Further blocks are planned. The first Pinot Noir was released in 2005.

The winemaker is Gary Andrus. The Davis Family Vineyards Alyssa is sold through a mailing list. Based on one bottle I sampled and the reputation and experience of Gary Andrus, I suspect this property is posed for stardom.
