Moderate ruby red color in the glass. Shy, but pleasant aromas of red cherry and sandalwood. Light to mid
weight in style, with easy going character, displaying an array of red fruits, a petrol note, modest tannins, and a
juicy finish.

13.9% alc., 150 cases, $55. A DRC selection and Wädenswil
clone blend. Aged 16 months in French oak barrels.

Moderately
light reddish purple color in the glass. A captivating wine from the
get-go, with high flying scents of black cherry, spice and
potpourri. Delicious middleweight flavors of black cherry,
raspberry and dark chocolate. Impeccably balanced with gentle
oak seasoning and a seductively silky mouthfeel. This special vineyard
always seems to deliver.

2010 Toulouse Weir Vineyard Yorkville Highlands Pinot Noir

Moderately light garnet color in
the glass. The leanest interpretation of this vineyard that I have tasted, but a solid wine. Aromas of cherries,
violets and spice. Dark red fruit flavors with an earthy, savory bent are featured on the modest palate. Lively
and fresh, with some finishing presence. Drink.
Score: 87.

Light garnet in color and clear in the glass. Aromas of
super-ripe fruit including raisin and root beer which carry over on the palate along with baking spice and pepper
notes. Supple tannins and bright acidity on the finish. Decent.

Medium light reddish-purple color in the glass. Delicate aromas
of cherry and strawberry with plenty of new oak evident. Flavors of very ripe red and black berries with oak-driven notes
of vanilla and cedar in the background. Moderately lush with satisfying Bing cherry notes singing on the finish.

Moderately deep reddish-purple color. Lovely aromas of fresh cherries
and spice. Mouth filling and concentrated flavors of Bing cherries, Asian spice, dark
chocolate and smoke with a mild grip of tannins. Focused and tenacious with a smooth
texture and very user friendly. Got duck?

2006 Toulouse Estate Anderson Valley Rosé
This is a terrific wine and
the best rosé I tasted over the weekend. There is plenty of berry fruit with a
touch of orange peel. The brisk acidity leads to a refreshing finish.

A light-bodied wine
with an interesting nose of buttered cinnamon toast. The fruit is accompanied by bread dough flavors.
The finish is notable for lingering vanillin oak flavors, mild drying tannins and a little heat.

This beauty has an elegant style that I admire. The nose is subdued, but offers delicate rose petal, raspberry and cherry perfume. The sweet cherry and raspberry fruit keeps you coming back for another sip. Despite a lengthy time in barrel, the oak is nicely integrated. The wine has a good acid backbone and the finish is soft and lingering.
