A producer of estate-grown Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Blanc de Noir and Pinot Noir Dry Rosé from the 90-acre Cherry Hill Vineyard located in the Eola-Amity Hills. The estate vineyard was planted in 1998 to Dijon (113, 115, 777) and Pommard clones on phylloxera-resistant rootstock. The estate was formerly planted to Royal Anne cherries in the 1960s and before that to prune trees. In the early 1990s, the site was purchased by William Hill (Atlas Peak, Diamond Mountain Ranch, Mount Veeder in Napa Valley, California) who sold the property to the Sweeneys in 1998.
The 12,000 square foot, gravity flow winery facility produces about 7,000 cases of wine annually. The first vintage of estate Pinot Noir was produced in the winery in 2003. Several Pinot Noirs are offered: Cherry Hill Winery, Papillon, Sweeney and Dijon Cuvée.
Tasting room in Rickreall open weekends May-October; weekdays call first. The wines are available through select retailers, restaurants and the winery's website.
