Youngberg Hill Vineyards & Inn

Youngberg Hill Vineyards and Inn consists of 21 acres of vineyards (16 acres of Pinot Noir, 5 acres of Pinot Gris) on a spectacular 50-acre hilltop estate with phenomenal views of the Willamette Valley. Located in the McMinnville AVA, the first plantings were in 1989 with additional plantings in 2006 and 2008. Farming is organic, LIVE and Salmon Safe certified, moving toward biodynamic practices, and the vines are not irrigated. The winery's Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris are made from estate grapes.

The Bailey family purchased Youngberg Hill in 2003 and renovated the entire estate with improved vineyard management and winemaking, a new tasting room and improved hospitality.

The house features eight guest rooms in a B&B arrangement. Highly recommended by Sunset Magazine.

Wines are available on the website. Tasting by appointment (503-472-2727). Library wines are available to Wine Club members. The website is very sophisticated and complete.

This was demonstrated when a previously opened and re-corked bottle was tasted two days later and showed luscious fruit flavors with softer tannins and a velvety mouth feel.
