Aged 17 months in French oak barrels, 15% new. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. The nose offers aromas of cherry, spice, weathered wood and matchstick. Sleek in the mouth, with mid weight flavors of black cherry, black raspberry and gracious oak. Gentle tannins and a short, satisfying finish. Score: 88. Reviewed January 16, 2019
