2005 Pali Wine Co. Shea Vineyard Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

14.0% alc., $45, screw cap. Dijon 114 clone, aged in 50% new French oak for 10 months. Brian Loring is the winemaker. · Beautifully expressive black cherry aromas, bright cherry and black raspberry fruit with a very subtle oak influence and some unresolved tannins on the backend. The second time I have tasted this wine and I found it immensely satisfying both times. Reviewed January 30, 2008
