Released October 1, 2012. 100% de-stemmed, aged 10 months in a blend of new and old French oak barrels, lightly filtrated. · Medium reddish-purple color in the glass. Aromas of black cherry and oak-driven caramel and toffee. Nicely concentrated flavors of black cherries and boysenberries with spice and oak in the background. The fruit makes a notable mid palate impression which carries through on the finish. Good. Reviewed June 23, 2013
