13.2% alc., $40. Estate grown, produced and bottled. The estate vineyard is located in Philomath in the western Willamette Valley. Clones are Wädenswil, Pommard, 115 and 777. Aged 15 months in French oak barrels. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. A well-mannered wine with aromas of black cherry, spice and raisin leading to a juicy core of black cherry and red raspberry fruits complimented by a deft touch of oak. Nicely balanced tannins and easily accessible. The most notable feature is the intensely fruity finish that lasts and lasts. Score: 89. Reviewed July 6, 2014
