14.5% alc., 142 cases, $40. 100% de-stemmed. 50% native and 50% inoculated fermentation. Average 15 days in fermenter. Pressed off in an imported Italian basket press. Aged 15 months in 50% new Francois Frères oak. Unfined and unfiltered. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. The nose is enticing with fresh aromas of blackberries, boysenberries and oak. Very juicy and vivid on the palate with a delicious array of berry flavors that fan out on the palate. The tannins are well integrated and the wine finishes with polish and generosity. Score: 91.
