13.9% alc., $18. Small lot fermentation. Aged 9 months in French oak barrels. · Moderately light cherry red color in the glass. Aromas of black cherry pie glaze, dried herbs and tobacco lead to mid weight flavors of black cherry and boysenberry with modest oak seasoning. Soft tannins, and a juicy, tart cherry finish with decent cut. Score: 87. Reviewed April 5, 2015
