Aged in French oak barrels, 10% new. · Light cherry red color in the glass. I loved the nose which offered waves of cherry, baking spice and sandalwood aromas. Soft in the mouth and easy to indulge, with mid weight flavors of cherry, spice and a hint of herbal oak, framed by balanced, chalky tannins. An impressive offering from the difficult 2013 vintage.
