This bottling is named after Kent’s daughter and is sourced from Sangiacomo Roberts Road Vineyard (95%) and Grand Vent Vineyard (5%). Primary clones are 777 and Swan with a small amount of Pommard and 667. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Rapturous nose offering scents of black cherry, black raspberry and exotic spices. Vivid, fresh purple and black fruit flavors filled out with a compliment of oak. The burliest and fruitiest wine of the three tasted here, but not jammy. Clones are Pommard, 667, 113, 115 and 943. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Engaging perfume of black cherry, spice and dried herbs. Succulent blueberry and purple grape flavors with a subtle savory note of herbs and tobacco. Elegant in style, with felty tannins and bright acidity, finishing with some persistence. Score: 92. Artist Valerie Savarie. 56% Roberts Road, 22% Grand Vent and 22% Stiling vineyards. 50% Swan, 28% 777, 15% Pommard, 4.5% 113 and 2.5% 667. Aged 15 months in French oak barrels, 62% new. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. A toned and trim wine with both weight and weightlessness. Aromas and flavors of dark cherry and blackberry are accented with nutty oak. Noticeably juicy, with a gentle grip of tannins and a finish that is joyously long. Fruit sourced primarily from Freestone area including Michael Valentine, Cleary Ranch, and Rayhill vineyards with additions from Grand Vent Vineyard in the Petaluma Gap and a small amount from Stiling Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Multiple Dijon clones and Swan and Pommard. 25% whole cluster. Aged in French oak barrels, 35% new. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. The aromas reach new heights over time in the glass, revealing notes of black raspberry preserves, spice and sawn oak. A complete wine featuring flavors of blueberry-pomegranate and black raspberry framed by gentle tannins. Steadfast and seamless, with persevering mouth and finish presence. Score: 93. A special barrel selection from assistant winemaker Hanna Chort. 69% Pommard, 25% 667 and 6% 113. Small amount of whole cluster, 30 days on the skins. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Resolute aromas of boysenberry, plum and peppery spice lead to a mid weight core of vivid and vibrant fruit mimicking the aromas. Nicely balanced, with unpretentious tannins, and a glorious finish that has both determined intensity and unrelenting length. A Grand Cru finish for sure. Score: 94. Clones are 44% Swan, 28% 777, 18% Pommard, 4.5% 115, 3% 113 and 2.5% 667. Aged in French oak barrels, 60% new. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. Flirtatious aromas of cherry pie, hazelnut and baking spices. Plenty of sappy Bing cherry fruit accented with spice. Sleek and forward drinking in a mid weight plus, generously fruity style that extends enough juicy acidity for admirable balance. This is a wine she can call her own creating a special blend each year. The name reflects here background as an accomplished classical pianist. Sourced from Grand Vent Vineyard (50%) in the Petaluma Gap and V-C Ranch (50%) in Freestone near Occidental. Clones Pommard (83%), 113 (10%) and 667 (7%). Aged in French oak barrels, 25% new. · Moderately light reddish purple color in the glass. Demure aromas of cherry and woodland forest pick up intensity over time in the glass. Light to mid weight delicate flavor of red cherry essence has hint of oak. A feminine-styled wine, yet packs plenty of flavor. Bashful tannins and redeeming balance make for easy enjoyability. 12.9% alc., pH 3.57, TA 0.64, 90 cases, $60. Sourced from a 15-acre vineyard located in the Petaluma Gap. A cool maritime climate and cold winds lead to extended hang times lasting into mid to late October. Feral primary and malolactic fermentations in open-top stainless steel tanks. Aged 10 months in French oak barrels, 40% new. · Moderately dark reddish purple color in the glass. Irresistible aromatic presence featuring scents of black cherry, black raspberry, spice, earth and mulch. A luscious array of dark stone and berry fruits saturate the mid palate with goodness. A bit of savoriness displayed by spice, pepper and forest flora add interest. The silky mouthfeel is highly seductive and the rewarding finish is ornate and persistent. Score: 92. Aged 14 months in 100% French oak barrels, 50% new and 50% neutral. · Moderately light deep cherry red color in the glass. Engaging aromas of strawberry, cherry, spice, mulch and a touch of oak lead to a mid weight core of red fruits accented with an overlay of oak. Intended to be a fuller-bodied style of Pinot Noir composed of more dramatically flavored Sonoma Coast barrels. Historically, tight on release. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. Aromas of cherry pie, plum and dark chocolate are echoed on the mid weight palate. Noticeable mid palate fruit presence with a waft of toasty oak in the background. Clones 667, 777, Swan, Pommard and 113. Celebrating tens years of wine and art. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. Attractive aromas of cherry and baking spices with a little dark chocolate showing up over time. Middleweight flavors of black cherry, black raspberry, cola and sassafras, with a hint of tarry oak and orange zest showing up on the long, palate-cleansing, juicy finish. 2012 Ernest Vineyards The Wrangler Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

13.2% alc., 184 cases, $48. Released spring 2014. Grand Vent and Dutton-Freestone vineyards. Pommard, 113 and 667 clones. Aged in 37% new French oak. · Moderately dark reddish purple hue in the glass. The nose offers an appealing combination of black cherry, black raspberry, spice and oak scents. Relatively full-bodied, featuring a core of dark red cherry and berry fruit with a bit of tarry oak in the background. Softly textured with balanced tannins, and some intensity on the finish which sports a good cut of refreshing acidity. Not as precocious as The Engineer, and will benefit from cellaring. Score: 91.
