14.3% alc., Magnum. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass with no rim bricking. Aromas of compost, worn leather, toasty oak, rose petal, black cherry and bruised apple. Very enjoyable, with mid weight flavors of sweet black cherry, blueberry and blackberry, black tea, tar, cola, tobacco and allspice. Good rich richness backed by balanced tannins and some intensity on the finish. Drink now to 2020. Reviewed February 13, 2017
