14.6% alc., $75. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Shy aromas initially of purple and black fruits. A real mouthful of black raspberry and blackberry fruits in a mid weight plus style. Very polished, with silken tannins, a suave mouthfeel and long, sappy finish. Considerably better when tasted the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle when the aromas and tastes of fruit and spice came alive. Score: 94. Reviewed May 3, 2019
