Frankly, the fruit in this wine is way too ripe. Overripeness is the point where dark berry flavors are transformed to flavors of dark chocolate and raisin. Beyond that, this wine is out of sorts with noticeable oak in the background, an unpleasant sweetness, and some drying astringency on the finish. Score: 88. Reviewed November 14, 2021
