2006 Coleman Vineyard Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 14.1% alc., $25. From a family owned vineyard in the Van Duzer corridor. · Shy cherry and berry scents pick up some intensity in the glass. The fruit is shy in the mouth as well. Very light and simple with unresolved tannins and a dry finish. I would sit on this one for another year, but it doesn’t seem to match up to its brethren in the Willamette Valley. Reviewed September 15, 2008
