13.0% alc., 171 cases. · The nose carries interesting scents of spiced raisin and licorice. The palate is rich and full of cherries, herbs and leather picking up intensity in the glass over time. Plenty of stuffing left and thoroughly enjoyable. Impressive for a difficult vintage. A Hugh Hefner wine: showing a little age but still perky. Reviewed May 1, 2006
