2010 Pali Wine Co. Durell Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

14.8% alc., 100 cases, $54, screw cap. Clones 115, 667 and Pommard 5. Aged 15 months in 50% new French oak. · Medium reddish-purple hue in the glass. Pleasing aromas of strawberries and raspberries with a hint of sassafras and rose petals. Tasty essence of red berries with a subtle herbal bent, offering some length on the generous and dry finish. Supple tannins and very approachable now. Still appealing the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. Very good. Reviewed July 23, 2012
