13.4% alc., $40. · Call this one deep and dark. The robe is a sexy dark ruby in color. The terrific nose shows off deep, dark Pinot fruits with an edgy earthiness. Great purity of fruit that is lightly oaked and great persistence on the back end. Terrific with chicken tortellini soup. I could sip this guilty pleasure all night long. Reviewed January 15, 2007
