14.9% alc., $25. This vineyard is farmed by Cindy Paulson. It is located at 1,800 feet on a steep hillside. Most of the fruit is sold to Wells Guthrie of Copain. 25%-30% whole cluster. · Very dark reddish purple color in the glass. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis, pepper and tobacco. Broad shouldered but refined with an intense, long, fruit-driven finish that leaves a hint of alcohol in its wake. An enjoyable, fully mature wine. Score: 89. Reviewed July 28, 2014
