Wente selection. 100% barrel fermented for 15 months in neutral French oak. · Moderately light golden yellow color in the glass. Plenty to like in this wine with an array of aromas including lemon zest, nectarine, white grape, straw bale and saline minerality, and flavors of lemon, kumquat, pear and honey. Very pleasing with a slightly creamy texture. Score: 90. Reviewed August 15, 2014
