14.4% alc., $45. · Moderately dark reddish purple color in the glass. Ripe, darker stone and berry fruit aromas lead off. This wine will appeal to those who prefer very ripe fruited Pinot Noir. Flavors of blackberry and cassis are framed by firm, but supportive tannins. Soft in the mouth with a black fruit driven finish that leaves a hint of alcoholic warmth in its wake. Score: 89.
