13.8% alc. · Moderate garnet color in the glass. Genteel aromas of dark cherry, earthy flora, rose petal and truffle. Perfumed on the mid-weight plus palate as well, with discreetly generous flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, purple grape, plum, root beer and spice. Trends toward the ripe fruited side, with soft tannins and easy approachability. The finish is modest. Score: 91. Reviewed August 1, 2021
