14.2% alc., pH 3.64, TA 0.58, 45 cases, $60. Made from estate organic grapes. 100% de-stemmed, native yeast fermentation, aged 10 months in French oak barrels, 60% new. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. Inviting aromas of black cherry, cassis and a hint of vanilla. A mid to full bodied charge of black cherry and blackberry fruits saturates the palate. Structured tannins back the lovely fruit, and oak notes of vanilla and toast play in the background. The seamless mouthfeel is very inviting and my only nit is a slight sense of alcoholic warmth on the finish. Score: 92. Reviewed June 18, 2016
