13.7% alc., 196 cases, $50, screwcap. Released September 2017. 3.1-acre vineyard located directly behind Kistler Winery. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. A straightforward wine featuring aromas and flavors of red cherry, cranberry and toasty oak. Modest in attack and finish modes, with easy going tannins and integrated acidity. Score: 89. 2012 Siduri Ewald Vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

14.9% alc., 257 cases, $48. Release May 2014. 3-acre site planted in Goldridge soil tucked just behind Kistler Winery. Harvest Brix 23.2º-24.2º. 11 out of 29 barrels chosen for the final wine. About 35% new French oak. · Dark reddish purple color in the glass. Complex nose with aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, briar, pine, spice rub, and others I could not pinpoint. Full-bodied, sweet and sappy, with a plethora of black fruits. Tremendous luscious fruit intensity with matched tannins. Complimentary oak in the background. 2011 Siduri Ewald Vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

14.9% alc., 149 cases, $48. A 3.1-acre vineyard in the Vine Hill area near Kistler. All fruit goes to Siduri. Clones 115 and 777. · Medium reddish-purple hue in the glass. Aromas of well-ripened cherries, cigar box and eucalyptus. Bright, juicy and crisp with a middleweight core of smoky black cherry and plum fruit, finishing with intensity. 2010 Siduri Ewald Vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

14.9% alc., 196 cases, $48. · Dense and darkly colored in the glass. Aromas of ripe plums, mixed berry jam and oak. Intense core of black cherry and blackberry fruit that hits the mid palate with guns blazing. Full-bodied and thick with moderate tannins, and a riff of cherry skin and cirtus peel on the finish.
